How to Use
  1. Select a target color using the color picker.
  2. Choose a preset to control how the search balances speed and accuracy. Presets range from very fast but rough guesses to thorough searches. The Absolute mode checks all possible combinations for maximum accuracy.
  3. Press the button to find the best glass stack options. You can see the results in a 3D preview or switch to a simple list view.
Accuracy

This tool uses Delta E 2000 (ΔE2000) to measure how close the beacon color is to your target.

  • Lower ΔE values mean the color is closer to the target.
  • The percentage shown is based on ΔE: higher numbers mean a better match.

How this compares to other tools:

  • Minecraft Wiki: Uses ΔE too, but with a simpler method. It often gives less accurate results.
  • Minecraft Tools: Shows similarity percentages in a different way. These numbers aren’t comparable to ours.

Overall, in testing, the tool on this site is more accurate than both listed above, achieving more accurate glass combinations to the target color. You can also use the tab to compare results from other tools with our calculations.

How to Use
  1. Select a target color using the color picker.
  2. Use the editor to design your own glass pillar, or enter a stack from another tool.
  3. The tool will show the resulting beacon color and provide a similarity score compared to your target. You can see both the numeric Delta E (ΔE2000) and a percentage based on ΔE.
Accuracy

This tool uses Delta E 2000 (ΔE2000) to measure how close the beacon color is to your target. Lower ΔE values mean a closer match.

  • ΔE = 0 indicates a perfect match.
  • The percentage shown is based on ΔE, giving a quick sense of similarity.

Unlike other tools, this one lets you experiment with colors and glass stacks directly. You can also paste stacks from other tools to see how they compare using our accuracy measures.

Overall, this tool provides a unique way to check and test beacon color combinations, giving a clear and precise measure of how close a stack is to your target.
